Class Descriptions

Sthira Sukham Asanam – Posture should be Steady and Comfortable

The asana practice (the physical postures) is a very small part of what yoga is, but it is the gateway for most of us in the West. Postures should be a balance of effort and ease – steadiness and sweetness. At Third Eye Yoga Collective, we are always open to modifications to de-intensify or intensify, as is right for your practice. If you are craving rest, please take rest. If something is not feeling right to you, please choose an alternative. Pain is never the goal, and ego is truly the opposite of yoga.
