Afternoon: Ecosystem Art Experiments with Found Objects
Let’s go on a hunt to find things that we can make into art! Did you know you can make drawings, paintings, or prints by combining things from around the house and nature? It’s true! Artists have used found objects in artmaking for a long time, and we will check out their work and then go on a scavenger hunt to find fun materials! We will even turn those found objects into 3D sculptures, collages, and assemblages. Try new ways to look at things as art and experiment with creatively putting objects together. Go home with all kinds of art and art tools that you made from things that you found.
