International Craft Sale

After completing their first year of medical school, students in a Pathway on Serving Underserved and Multicultural Populations travel during the summer, many to perform service in developing countries. While there, the students purchase crafts, jewelry, and other items from local artisans using $50 from stipends they have received. These items are then sold at the UMMS International Craft Sale and all the money from sales is sent back to benefit artisans and community programs in those developing countries.
